Specialist Behavioural Intervention   Support

· Highly specialised intensive support interventions and strategies to address significantly harmful or persistent  behaviours of concern. With the aim of increasing the participants quality of life and improving communication and relationships.

· Development of behaviour support   plans that temporarily use restrictive practices, with intention to minimise   use of these practices and phase them out where possible over time. 

Training for carers, support workers, mentors, friends, family and others in behaviour management strategies required due the participant’s disability. With a focus on life improvements, skill development, active support and consistent approached to Positive Behaviour Support. 

This Plan is developed in consultation with the participant, carers, family and others. The plan should accurately and positively represent the participant as a one stop guide to supporting them to live their best life and achieve their goals.
